Accordingly, Humana Ventures looks for well-balanced teams made up of individuals with track records of achievement that understand the complexities of the healthcare environment and possess the attitiudes and skills requisite to build a successful organization.

Humana Ventures invests in companies at all stages of development at terms typical in venture financings. We will invest alone but prefer to co-invest with professional venture firms and other strategic partners.

We will invest anywhere from $1 million to $10 million per transaction, but prefer investments of at least $5 million. We also prefer to have an equity position between 10% and 35%. We are an active strategic partner, and accordingly, strongly prefer board representation.
